Even though the Mayan calendar is more correct than ours, they are both off by several years. Nevertheless, I do believe the Second Coming of the Savior can't be very far away. Hence, the fulfillment of prophecies regarding the calamities that will befall the earth in the Last Days. Now is a great time to get prepared.
Anything that motivates us to have food storage is worthwhile! This article has a lot of food for thought. I had not even thought about people buying food storage because it is less expensive to buy than food, but that is quite a great idea. We have always been told to rotate our food storage and what better way than to use it occasionally.
