What else would you expect from Utah Republicans?
In any case, if you want a better economy and more responsible spending, the GOP is exactly the wrong choice. Don't buy their propaganda. Reality says otherwise.
Democrats-- you're victims and deserve compensation. You'll qualify for something if you look and complain enough. They want a nation of beggars to depend on them.
Republicans-- build self worth, and work for your success. We'll help the truely needy.
Obama? Half of our adult population is on welfare, and can't pay any federal income tax. This may be enough to win the next election. King Obama!
Romney is infallible here.
Hutterite,
A major improvement would be a more accurate statement.
a bad choice but good for those of us who support our President
Obama has created thousands of jobs. Here's how he did it:
* sent our tax money to Finland and Mexico to build new auto plants.
* sent billions to Brazil for off shore drilling.
* sent billions to the Muslim Brotherhood.
* sent billions to China, and Japan to produce windmills.
* paid a company in Australia to build a
windmill farm in Texas.
Obama has done a great with creating jobs, but it wasn't for us. We just paid for it.
He's denied us 600,000 jobs by not agreeing to the Canadian oil pipeline.
Canada is now trucking oil to the Gulf of Mexico to be shipped to China.
Romney's tax returns are the least of our concerns. If there was a problem, the IRS would have him in jail.
Harry says Mitt hasn't paid in ten years, while Obama says he did, but just fifteen percent.
Something doesn't sound right.
A vote for Obama increases the welfare state. A vote for Romney increases self-reliance. In November we will see what the American people choose. Unfortunately for all of us, there IS a right answer and reality will not be nice to us if we fail this test.
Republicans all over are going to support Romney whom they never really liked and now Ryan that the love but know he can't get swing votes.
All the more true the saying, "democrats fall in love, republicans fall in line"
The Democrats have been so skilled at lying that about 50% of the people believe that some "rich guy" is going to pay for all of their personal wants. They think that anything "given" to them by the government comes at no cost. They believe that they are somehow entitled to make others work longer hours at lower pay so that they can sit on their couches and make their demands for "free government services".
The awful truth is that Obama has presided over a "change" that has changed us from desiring to be self-reliant to desiring to let some "rich guy" feed us, clothe us, and pay for our doctor bills.
There is no "rich guy" who has enough money to pay even the interest on those "free government services". Even Obama has admitted that raising taxes on the "rich guy" will only increase revenues to the government $60 billion a year - while he increases the deficit twenty-five times that amount every year.
Because Obama can't do simple math, he can't be our President. His failure to "fix" the economy affects each of us personally. He is unfit for office.
Really, Mike Richards? Do you really believe that what you say in your post has only been going on since Obama has been president? And the economy is starting to turn around, slowly, but surely. If it continues to be slow, will you say the same about Romney, should he become president? If it improves within the next year, before Romney has a chance to do anything, will you give him credit? I will be watching!
By the way: Who is the "us" you talk about? Not I!
Worf: "half of our citizens are on welfare"
Really?
Do you have some proof of that?
Are you, yourself, on Social Security, Medicare, government retirement, military retirement, receive VA benefits, Medicaid, Tri-Care, or any other government "welfare" that you paid for for years, and earned?
The economy is NOT turning around. More people are losing jobs every day. The smoke and mirrors that Obama presents is just stage magic. He is lying to us about everything. He lied about G.M. paying back the TARP money. G.M. used TARP money to pay back a small portion of the entire bill, but Obama lied and told us that G.M. had paid back the money.
Obama tells us that effort doesn't matter. Tell that to a musician who practices eight hours a day to get to the skill level necessary to play professionally. Tell that to the athlete who spends hours in the weight room exercising and even more hours on the field honing his/her skills. ANY successful person will tell you that they are successful because they worked. ANY unsuccessful person will tell you that the other guy was "lucky".
Romney knows how to work. Ryan knows how to work. Obama knows how to talk and how to play golf. Is it any wonder that under Obama, people talk about working as they sit on their couches and collect money from Obama's deficit?
Really J? Your use of the musicians analogy is quite interesting. I have practiced my craft for many years, and am making the same if not less when accounted for inflation than I did 10, 20 years ago, while "job creator" venues raise their food, drink, and ticket prices, and cover charges have gone up. Right there is the republican jobs plan, stick it to the working stiffs.
Yes, Worf, something just doesn't sound right. Could it be because everything in your post here is false?
worf keeps saying: "He's denied us 600,000 jobs by not agreeing to the Canadian oil pipeline."
Boener admits stretching it to 100,000, please give a reference for 600,000 jobs?
Worf: "Canada is now trucking oil to the Gulf of Mexico to be shipped to China."
Trucking it around America to Mexico?
Seems like taxing it properly to pass thru America would give the USA a nice import export tax?
TransCanada claims the pipeline will create 20,000 jobs.
A State Department report estimates that only 20 permanent operating jobs would be created in the six states along the pipeline route. To get the 20,000 jobs # they included 1,000's of bartenders and 300 plus "Exotic dancers"
J Thompson said: "Obama tells us that effort doesn't matter. Tell that to the athlete who spends hours in the weight room exercising and even more hours on the field honing his/her skills. Actually it was mitt in 2002 who said that. “You Olympians, however, know you didn’t get here solely on your own power,” said Romney, who on Friday will attend the Opening Ceremonies of this year’s Summer Olympics. “For most of you, loving parents, sisters or brothers, encouraged your hopes, coaches guided, communities built venues in order to organize competitions. All Olympians stand on the shoulders of those who lifted them. We’ve already cheered the Olympians, let’s also cheer the parents, coaches, and communities. All right! [pumps fist].”
