This is what happens when you have a church structure and theology that gives men such power over women and requires obedience and to never question the powers of prophesy issued to the priesthood. "Stay sweet and polite at times"

No, this is what happens when you have a man exercise his agency--wrongly--and choose to abuse the priesthood with which he has been entrusted. Judas was an ordained apostle, and look how he turned out. But it wasn't the structure of Christ's church that was to blame.

The Lord extends callings to many to give them the opportunity to succeed and lift others, or to fail and condemn themselves. It's up to the individual how they want to proceed.

Kudos to the LDS church for acting quickly and appropriately, insofar as their authority extends, concerning this man's actions.

I Personally know President Guzman and he is not guilty of these Preposterous charges. He is a victim of the Malice of these people that want to take advantage of the system to get gain. I Pray that the truth will prevail and that the legal system can do Justice for President Guzman and that his Good Name can Be cleared From all this Lies that they are accusing him of.

How does your theory explain women being raped who choose not to report it? What about children who are sexually abused or molested who never speak up? Such horrible crimes are committed daily by people of all walks of life. This story is about a man who allegedly committed a serious crime. His alleged actions do not align at all with what he was teaching on Sunday and with how he is expected to act as a Christian. Please show me where the church teaches leaders and its members to act in such ways to support your absurd theory.
