Democrats: Someone has to pay for all those copies you ordered. I know you think otherwise, but nothing is free.

This is freedom of information in Utah?
Of all the places the legislature wastes money they sure passed this law without the usual grandstanding.
I guess when your voting to cover your own "private state of affairs" things get done quicker.

The party whether it is in the public interest or not, should take responsibility for
the costs of its requests. The effort to always pass the expenses on to the public is one small part of the increase in government costs for all of us.

Remember those from whom you are making the appeal....members of the Legislature that passed HB 477 a few years ago and had to eat crow when their was a public outcry. Democrats need to spent their resources more wisely because the majority of the state's voters don't give a care over the reults. In other words, Demos, it was POLITICAL! That's what politicians do---duh---is things that are political. Many years ago the comic strip Peanuts featured Lucy saying "Us critical people are always being critisized." Well, the Legislature is always being political. If you take that away from them, why would they want to be elected? Just look at them and you'll see what's wrong with the US Congress, too. But we don't care to change either of them very often.
