This is surely what the framers of the Constitution had in mind when they wroe the 2nd Amendment---everyone deserves and needs a gun, so when you're in an argument you can just shoot innocent victims before the other guy with the gun shoots you. Yes, we're safer having anyone and everyone with a gun......much safer.

That makes as much sense as saying Henry Ford created the Model T so that drunk, distracted, texting drivers could kill 25,000 people in 2011. (Sarcasm for the liberal minority living in Farmington.)
