17-year old girls should be at home in their own beds long before 1:30 am. Where were this girl's parents, and why weren't they providing her with the supervision the law requires?
I agree with you Rifleman, but here is something to think about; Maybe the parents have tried to discipline their daughter, and the daughter complained to child protective services! If she did, then the father\mother, or both are now considered guilty with no possibility of proving their innocence, and if they try to restrain or discipline their daughter, they will be the ones to go to jail and if there are other children in the household, then they will also be removed and placed in state custody, and if they ever get it straightened out, it could be months or even years. In such a case, what is a parent to do?
Could somebody - - the writer, the editor, the PD . . but somebody get the facts straight and the spellings correct before things like this go to the press. I know some Carr's and I know some Karr's and I even know some Kjar's (I realize this name is not mentioned in the article). Which one is it? or is it a coincidence that there are Carr's and Karrs involved in this story????
It's a shame there are knives out on the streets. Why aren't there any knife control laws in place? This crime could have been avoided had there been stricter laws in place. Don't you realize that knives kill people?
