With the surge in corn and soybean prices, it's no surprise that meat prices are also on the rise. Fear of a food drought are becoming more real with each passing day. Great article.

Good thing we taxpayers have been paying farmers insurance bills for them and will cover most of any losses they have.

I have to pay taxes to support farmers. Isn't that like slavery when I'm forced to work for other people's profits? You may as well just force me to hoe weeds for them 1 month every year.

Many of our farmer friends do not have any water for the cattle this year, forcing most of them to sell all their cattle rather than have them die on the ground.
