Thanks Alec for sharing. Almost everyone goes through their own trial of faith that can become an anchor to hold on to when times get tough. Keep sharing your wonderful voice to uplift us all.

I'm very glad I read this. I wouldn't have read section 122 of the Doctrine & Covenants at this time if I hadn't thought it was a typographical error in the piece, since section 121 is one of my favorites and also relates to the subject.

I am also a huge Harry Potter fan and was happy you mentioned him. I have often noticed parallels between Harry Potter and Joseph Smith, even though Joseph Smith came from a functional family.

It was great to hear of Alec's test of faith at such a young age. It is inspiring that he choose to stand up for the Lord and we can see that the Lord has stood up for him. I miss his solo's with the choir and I have to say, I also miss Shane Warby's solo's also, these two are amazing singers.
