Warren's outfit needs to get a little off the wall with it. Call it 'burning tower', maybe.
Rameumptom, maybe?
Jeff realized that his tower of babel wasn't tall enough. He'll start over again and make a taller one.
One day, we'll read the kool-aid headline...
I feel sad for them.
The reason they can't "snap out of it" is that by admitting Warren Jeffs is a nut,
that would also be admitting they, their faith, and everything they've come to believe to be true is not.
I can't imagine what it would be like to wake up one day only to find out Pres Hinckley or Pres Monson were insanely wrong.
That would be scarey if it was the only world you ever knew,
and had been told your whole life that the other 9 Billion people on this planet were all evil monsters that were out to get you and should never to be trusted....
I think it is Jeffs way of keeping them under his control, don't forget, only a few are able to father children now, so he needs to keep those 90% who have to abstain busy. But I believe it is part of his brain washing approach, work them hard, see the finished work and tear it down. That makes them feel useless and it demeans them. We in the LDS church are taught to follow the council of the prophets, but we also know without a doubt that something like this would never happen.
maybe the plan was to build a tower high enough so that they could see Warren Jeffs..just a thought
Maybe it was a rocket but they forgot the engine?
Why would anyone think the tower was built to watch outsiders? Outsiders like who, desert coyotes? Deer and antelope? Jackrabbits? The tower was built to monitor on-site prisoners and potential escapees. Duh.
Tower was built to observe FLDS members, not outsiders. Funny how clueless news writers can be!
