No surprises here.
I hate this part of the UEA.
By the way, Utah doesn't have a teachers union.
This is news?
The Utah Education Association, our local teachers' union, just like its national parent, the NEA, are in the bag for any Democrat who runs. Check out their endorsements and donations both at the federal and state level.
The union bosses may have a lot of power in the union, but someone needs to report on how much money members have been cutting from the Union's income in recent years. IIRC they are down something like 23% for the last year that figures are available.
Maybe the union bosses should listen more to their members before automatically backing the big spending, big taxing big government Democrats.
Wow -- stop the presses. This is a shocker.
Imagine a Union endorsing a Democrat!
What will they think of next?
DN Subscriber,
UEA's endorsement of Republican Governor Gary Herbert and many other Republican legislators belies your mistruths.
What earthshaking non-news. The worst union in Utah supporting Matheson. I can't remember the last time the UEA supported any Republican. Makes me want to run the other way and vote for Love. Hold it, that's who I was going to vote for anyway.
