It is my understanding that the new health care system (Obama care) does not cover patients with Alzheimer's. A friend of mine said her husband worked at a care place for elderly patients and when the new regulations began to take place, her husband was out of work. They laid him off because the patients who had Alheimer's were no longer covered by the government payments and they had to send them (the patients) home, back to their families. That made less patients where her husband worked and they did not need him as an employee.
