The Troffs are such lovely people. I had the opportunity to be the principal of
their neighborhood school a number of years ago. It's such a joy to read
about the successes of their family.
I'm not a chess player but I can recognize a great story about a wonderful
family when I read it.Good luck all in your endeavors. We will hear more
as time goes by. This story made me want to go to a chess match....
I've sat across the board from the Troffs before...they are classy folks.
Keep it up y'all...Utah could use a some-home grown GMs!BTW: The article mentioned that Kasparov is widely recognized as the
greatest player of all time. He might be. Still, (and I know it's the same
kind of Michael Jordan vs. Lebron James debate)it is my opinion that if Kasparov
had to play under the same conditions that Fischer did back in the
day...Kasparov might not have achieved all that he has achieved. IMO Bobby
Fischer is the greatest player ever.
