Two Heisman contenders on the Utes? How many Heisman contenders on BYU's
There are no Heisman contenders on the utes. LOL!
"There are no Heisman contenders on the utes" duckyTypically
you point to Athlon when the Utes are ranked low but now that the publication
gives a couple of Utes some credit...you trash it.typical
But Hedgehog, don't you know that Duckhunter is "the balance"????
LOL Yeah right.
Jenny: There are 85 scholarship players so there are 85 Heisman contenders on
The bYu roster.
Look forward to seeing Brian in his first year. The man has a history of
doing well at everything he's done, this should be no different.Trolls are best left ignored. it's the little boy in him still acting out
for attention, even if it's negative.
@hedgehogI don't point to any publication about anything
because I don't read them unless there is a link from the newspaper
here.I'm just going off of the fact that there aren't any
"Heisman contenders" on utah's roster. For one thing to win a
heisman your team actually has to be good, utah isn't, they are pretty
average. For another heisman campiagns start at least the previous year and as
of now there are no heisman campiagns for any one on the ute's. Then there
is the fact that no one on utah's roster is good enough to win a heisman
trophy. But hey, if you guys believe it will happen.....utah "fan" delusion at its best.LOL!
Oh and let me go waaaaaay out on a limb here and make this extremely bold
statement. No one from the university of utah's football team
will win the Heisman trophy this year.Mark it down!LOL!
I guess losing to your rival by 44 points last year and 7 of the last 10 years
really takes a toll on a person (Duckhunter) and an unhealthy hate starts to
grow inside of that person. I'd be willing to bet Duckhunter thinks about
how much he hates the Utes almost every hour of every day.
Ducky, do you have your tickets to Tulsa booked for the week when Utah once
again beats your team. You know, when you suddenly start "Living on Tulsa
Time" and nothing is heard from you; I look forward to it.
pebblesDuckhunter is simply stating the obvious - the Utes
don't have a team that's good enough to propel any of their players
into serious contention for the Heisman. Sure, there might be a couple of
players mentioned in the very long pre-season list of "possible"
contenders, but none of them will end up on the list of 10 or 12 players who
will be tracked throughout the season as legitimate contenders.
4-5 conference records are hardly launching pads for a Heisman.
"4-5 conference records are hardly launching pads for a Heisman."-Robert Griffin III
@stgThere is not one player on utah's roster that even vaguely
compares to Robert Griffin III.
I never said there was, sir, just counterpointing another arrogant disparaging
remark. However, after 2010, anyone could have made the statement that there was
not anyone on Baylor's 7-6 team that compared with Mark Ingram. I'm
not saying he has a good chance at all, but John White has already received a
lot of notoriety in the West as a darkhorse candidate, and if he improves on
last year's numbers, I wouldn't be surprised to see his popularity
