All roads to the White House go through Ron Paul and his supporters.

Of all registered voters:
2% Third Party
27% Republican
31% Democrat
40% Independent
Ron Paul is the ONLY Republican who is polling higher among Independents than Obama.

Therefore, this will be a repeat of 2008. Only the Paul Army can defeat the Obama Machine!
And, after the treatment the Ron Paul people have received from the GOP and MSM, they will not vote for Romney.

Have fun at your big party. It's all for nothing and a waste of money.

The GOP might as well change from elephants to the woolly mammoth now. They are becoming extinct. They are already the minority party in America.

To: PSTANLEY:

So how exactly has Ron Paul been so mistreated that even his son Senator RAND PAUL SUPPORTS Mitt Romney?

Ron Paul and Mitt Romney held discussions and talked on a regular basis through the campaign.

Mitt Romney did not go after Ron Paul and Ron Paul did not go after Mitt Romney!

So you will settle for Barack Obama continuing to break America's back rather than support the Nominee Mitt Romney?

It just sounds like you are unhappy it did not turn out your way.

The vast majority of Republicans including Tea Party favorites support Mitt Romney.

Do You really think Ron Paul will vote for President Obama? No, I don't think so. I know we who want to defeat Obama will have Representative Paul standing with us to defeat President Obama because Ron Paul is a Great American!

Are You?

In todays Polls Mitt Romney is out polling Obama in Gallup and Rasmussen and is leading in Michigan now and is ahead or competitive in almost all the toss up states Obama won last election.

Our Goal as Conservative Americans is to put Obama on the speakers circuit making a cool million per month!

To Don17: Rand Paul is only playing politics and is not Ron Paul.
The vast majority of Republicans are just falling in line. And, considering thats only at the most 27% of the electorate, thats not saying much.

Our goal as Republicans is to bring the party back to it roots instead of pandering to the elitist bankers and corporations.

There is no difference between Romney and Obama so it is better to have 4 more years of Obama! At least he will not invade Iran or Siria and will bring our troops home where they belong.

I will vote for Gary Johnson before I would vote for Romney or Obama.

And, no, Ron Paul will never endorse Romney.

"The vast majority of Republicans are just falling in line."

The Republicans want someone who can win in November and if Ron Paul couldn't even win the Republican nomination he certainly couldn't win the general election.

I'd encourage you to vote for Gary Johnson. He won't win either.

"This is about rewarding your big donors," "There won't be any average Utahns there at all unless they're serving food or something." "It's terribly important that this not be seen or widely presented as a Republican rich club meeting planning the future of the country," "It looks like, 'Oh, gee, if I give $50,000, I get to talk to him.'"

I think this says it all

So Romney is once again coming to Utah to milk the cash cow. Surprise, surprise.

The "Elite" in both parties ARE the problem. As long as we view their being a special class of people whose will and agenda trumps that of the ordinary voter... we have a problem. We don't need a meeting of the who's who of DC and Money... we need a meeting of the average person who is trying to figure out how to secure their kids education and ultimately a secure retirement.

Funny how some people in Utah think its all about them. Dear Furry. Mitt is so past heavily depending on Utah for
contributions or haven't you noticed? His biggest supporter is in Nevada, and donations have been pouring in from everywhere. Good grief.

What makes you think that Independents are Ron Paul Supporters. They obviously did not participate and vote for him during the Primary election cycle. The onlly reason that several states have any significant Paul supporters ios the way they hijack the caucus's.

Oh and they boo hoo and cry foul so they institute a lawsuit to get there way. Maybe they should start the Ron Paul Party and see how far it goes.

Elite vs. me. I'm LDS and I support the Constitution and Ron Paul who defends it.

I will not vote for Romney just because he has an R by his name or has the same religion as I do. I will vote for the person who most upholds the Constitution and both Romney and Obama are VERY far from that. The lesser of two evils is still evil.
It will be Gary Johnson, the constitution party canidate or write in Ron Paul.

@PSTANLEY,

You claim that "Ron Paul is the ONLY Republican who is polling higher among Independents than Obama."

Care to cite your polling source to back up your claim?

Is Romney really so silly as to think that these non-LDS big time donors will consider a trip to Utah as a perk? LOL There isn't even snow on the ground. Yeah what a perk for them! haha

Time to face up to reality, if you want to be President you have to have money. And just because you have money doesn't mean you are evil or want to rob the middle class as robber barons. There are moral, altruist, patriotic and conservative rich people and Mitt Romney is one of them. He does not have a published biography full of lies or a record of failures with an ever increasing debt to try and justify. If we want a President who will try to get us back on the Constitutional track we need to vote for Mitt. And welcome to the Republican leaders to Utah.

How is this any different than Obama meeting with the Hollywood elites? I think this is a great opportunity to showcase Utah and the beauty of the state. If (hoping) Romney wins the Presidency, expect more of this coming to Utah. Utah is always trying to increase tourism and showcase the state and this is a great opportunity. By the way, PCStanley, it is spelled Syria, not Siria. Nice to see that NC education.

What? No mention of Nu Skin executives? Steve Lund donated millions of dollars to Super PAC. Sandie Tillotson hosted a fundraiser in her NY condo in '08. Nu Skin donated 20Mil to the 2002 Olympics, per Romney's request.

Romney supports Nu Skin, (multi-level marketing,) but the question is, what will these donations buy? I think they're purchasing protection from government regulation. (Pres.)Romney can help them continue their deceptive business practices. That's worth millions of dollars evidently.

Currently, whistleblower, Diederik van Nederveen, is being sued for 60million by Sandie Tillotson, his ex-wife, for defamation. Deseret News: article 865556209
Diederik's website discusses Romney's connection to Nu Skin. Recently, he posted a chapter from his book about Meeting Sandie.(explicit) How embarrassing for Nu Skin, Romney's top Utah donors, to have this kind of drama circulating while the big wigs are attending Romney's Deer Valley retreat. Romney should be rethinking his involvement with a supporter whose dirty laundry is airing globally.

Nothing more than a gathering of the good ole boys club who have robbed, cheated, lied. and scammed their way to "super" wealth by changing many laws to favor them and their very businesses. Now they are convening to donate some of that wealth so they can get more favors and continue to drive our common citizenry and economy into the gutter. What a scam! Where "o" where are they going to park all of the private jets? Sickening.

To: PSTANLEY, "There is no difference between Obama and Romney"

That is a lazy weak statement made by those hoping to keep Obama in office.

Romney's Energy plan is starkly different than Obama's. If you knew Romney's energy plan you would know this. Romney is not looking to shut down the coal industry like Obama is. That is why Senator Manchin WV-D speaks out against Obama. Romney does not have a EPA insisting refineries use a chemical in fuel production that does not exist. It was not Romney who shut down 10 Coal fired power plants in Illinois it was Obama's administration. Romney supports offshore drilling which will create jobs from Virginia to Texas and on the West Coast. Romney supports the Keystone pipeline and American energy independence. Romneys plan is well rounded energy development!

Romney and the Economy has been heavily talked about in the media and his web site has plenty of examples of the differences between the Romney plans and proposals based on our capitalist system vs. the Obama drive towards socialism!

Rasmussen Poll May-12 People Consider themselves Republican 35.7% Democrat 33.8 Other 30.5%
Obama has failed!

100 or so very tired, hard-working Hispanic cooks, maids, and servers will get up really early and hope their kids are OK and their old cars will make it up Parley's Summit so they can bring these fat Republican honchos their eggs benedict and clean their toilets. Meanwhile, said honchos will play golf and hold meetings to laugh and curse at the "parasites" from over the border and figure out how to stiff them out of even meager medical benefits.

I think it's great their holding their meetings in Utah rather than Orlando or LA; at least the money spent on this thing will benefit businesses and folks here.
