I can only hope it's a radical step forward. And I don't think that that picture is them placing it in a cadaver, looks like a plastic spine demo to me.
Without sounding disrespectful, I have often thought that the Lord could have worked with an engineering consulting firm when he designed our backs.
I hope the solution is available (to my problem) soon and if there are going to be trials, I just might know where they could get a volunteer or so.
We should be thankful for the many scientific advances that have come during our generations and do our part to support research such as this and places like the Huntsman Cancer Institute which are trying to make lives better for others.
