Unbelievable. But then again these are the same folks who wanted a split in the districts. I am so glad I work in Granite School District. We get Dr. Bates, you folks in CSD can keep Dr. Doty. Not even close.

A bonus for doing your job? I thought we were broke?

I just wonder if Canyons taxpayers feel better off now than when they were with the Jordan School District. Now they get to pay more for what seems same old thing.

Rarely do I agree with DN Subscriber on anything but in this case, I think he has a good point.

What kind of raises did the teachers get in his district?

This is s sick, twisted joke, right?

    Wow unbelievable!

Harass your staff, tick off your employees and you can get a $25,000 bonus? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Then you claim it is because he hasn't had a raise the past 3 years? Get a grip people! The teachers probably haven't had a raise for 5 years.

Time to rethink things in the Canyons district.

Five Canyons School Board members have just shown that they have extremely poor judgment and should be replaced at the next election.

Doty should have been fired long ago, not given a raise for his mismanagement of this scandal plagued operation mired in morale problems and bloated staffing.

Bet they will be asking for a tax hike pretty soon too.
