There should be EXIF information, or some kind of date information, in the photo files, I would think. Or at least comparison of the children's ages from then to now. Something to keep this....person....some place where he can't harm anyone. His sick, disgusting actions have caused harm to many people; not only the children whose pictures he took, but because of his general lifestyle he has harmed his family, and his grandchildren whose lives were taken by his equally troubled son Josh. I hope a requirement of the court will be successful completion of sex offender counseling, at the very least.

Maybe a 1-year sentence might have been acceptable if Mr. Powell had taken responsibility for his crimes but he pled not guilty and was thereafter convicted by a jury of his peers.

A lengthy prison sentence might possibly get him to thinking about the error of his ways.
