Seat belts are great. Mandating the wearing of them by force of law is not.
As a retired state trooper I have seen in my over 28 years the result of what happens in accidents were seatbelts weren't worn and more deaths from not wearing seatbelts. To peanut Gallery till you have to go and tell someone they have lost a love one's life due to not wearing a seatbelt, you shouldn't make such a statement. Iam glad to see that the state of Utah has this program.
