Jeffrey, thanks for the great review, I appreciate it when reviews don't give away "punch lines" or divulge major twists and turns in the story line.

I have been anxiously waiting to see the Avengers ever since I found out the film was being made. I'll be one of the first in line at our local theater.

My wife and I went out last night on a date, and we saw the movie in 3-D here in Great britain. It is a FABULOUS move. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and can heartily recomend it. The humour is wonderful, (some great one-liners) and the interplay between the characters is easy on the eye and ear. The special effects are brilliantly done, and we were also grateful that the 3-D specialists took to just allowing us to feel a part of the action, without the need to say, "Look at the crazy things we can do with 3-D."

The only down-side for me was that, once again, the bad guy has an English accent. WHY? Are we that bad as a nation? Is our accent more scary than the American one?

My wife and I are our late 50's and early 60's, but enjoyed it as much as the youngsters in the audience. Anothet bonus, no sex and no bad language.

I am looking forward to this movie. If its done as well as the other Marvel movies and Avengers animated series on DisXD then it s/b breat.

Yet , another good year for Superhero movies. Dark Knight Rises in July will be phenomenal and the Spider Man reboot can't be as bad as the last one; can it?
