When is the State or Federal government going to transplant a colony to Antelope Island where they can serve as a control location for preservation in case catastrophic disease wipes out the SoUtah populations? California has done this with the Tule Elk - made separate groups and preserved a species that was at one time down to TWO animals known alive in the State.
Do it now and preserve the animals in a location few ever get to - the West side of Antelope Island - where the Buffalo roam and few tourists ever visit because you have to walk to get there.
