My wife would take topiramate, but we're not willing to take the risk of birth defects. So she suffers, but what can really be done? This is probably one big reason that those who get migraines don't seek available treatment.
I used to have migraines, at least 1 or 2 a week. But I haven't had them for 20 years because I had TMJ treatment. TMJ treatment is is given by a dentist rather than a doctor. Unfortunately there are very few who are really well trained and qualified in Utah. But if you can find one the relief if almost immediate.
