Since it is apparent their are some doubts among the board member's then that is evidence enough to perform the investigation and audit. It means there is a cover up and wrong doings going on some one doesn't want to have exposed. I think the possibility of saving millions $ warrants an audit of accountability and spending.

Looks like the employees of the district are taking this underground. Look up Operation Animal Farm on facebook. Good for them -- hope it works! If they're too scared to do this out loud, doesn't that say a lot?

I don't live in the Great State of Utah, but I believe that if the board members don't see eye to eye and there is about 1600 singer to a petion maybe they need to do an investigfation to see if there is wrong doing. If the Superinent has nothing to hide why is he so opposed to this investagation? Something doesn't sound right to me. I took an active role in the school when my children were in school that they got the best education they could.

I would much rather have a representative on the school board who focuses on keeping our better administrators and teachers, such as Mark Montague and Sharon Okamura, as opposed to ingratiating themselves with a Superintendent with a Napoleon complex.

I will find someone else to vote for in the future Ms Horiuchi.
