Isn't it a little presumptuous of SLC to think they have a right to have an advisory board to control BLM land which they don't have or own? Is this SLC's way of snubbing their nose at the laws that limit the land they can impose controls on?
We have a parks and recreation department in most cities but they don't go around trying to tell the BLM the city is taking over their land to use as they see fit. This is fallout snobbery by SLC with the enacted state law trying to take over the territory of the US Government property. A challenge by the SLC governemnt daring the BLM to stop them.
