Wishful thinking. The city has already taken these landowners and citizens for a ride, they have lost any hope to recover from Chevron since the city has already settled theirs and any future claims against Chevron by other land owners affected by the spill and cleanup.

Just as Louisiana settled with BP and collected the billions of dollars to control and deny anyone with a claim come to the state, so has SLC done in this case with Chevron.

If these property owners wish to recover any compensation they will have to sue the city to get their money to cover their share of losses. Chevron has already settled any claims and the SLC got all their millions of dollars settlement. Why the lawyers are bilking the land owners with false hope is deplorable.

Good luck.

I really doubt these properties have lost there value! Oil is organic and just as natural as water itself. And I really doubt these homeowners claims. They just see visions of money from Big Oil
