Once the baby boomers start aging out a lot of this nation's problems will fix itself. We won't need to spend so much money on supporting the elderly and aging, and the jobs vacated by boomers as they retire will create demand for young workers again. It is just going to take time.

If we can make it through the next 20 years we should come out in fine shape.

Not so. The young don't have the values, knowledge, character, or skills of the older generation. It will self destruct and transform into dictatorship, with massive starvation.
