Comments about ‘Steve Eaton: Mitt Romney can't win, even though he does’

The way the media hates Romney, especially the media in Utah, I think I will vote for him. Is he conservative or something?

"Some 32 percent of people have said they'd prefer to work with anyone else, even Rick Santorum."

So, that means 78 percent would prefer the other guy.

"A recent poll said that 55 percent of people trust Newt Gingrich over Eaton to clean out the microwave in the break room."

Then let Newt clean the microwave... Rather, let is wife do it.

"I used to have good hair but it's true that it was never like Mitt Romney's hair  all organized on my head."

If want good, organized hair look to Newt. But you'll find that's all he has as an asset.

"If it were me, I wouldn't promise I'd fix everything."

Then perhaps you should run for pres.

"... Gingrich said that Romney is the weakest front-runner since 1920, so that we should vote for someone like Newt because he would be more electable than Mitt. Wouldn't you think Gingrich would have a campaign aide somewhere who would tell him how silly that sounds?"

Who'd want someone in the White House making that kind of stupid comment? Romney's response: If he (Romney) were the worst candidate, what about Newt who's miles behind both Romney and Santorum in delegates.

I would like to vote for Romney... If I knew which Romney I was voting for!

His statements over the years have included pro and con statements on virtually every issue, and his most recent positions seem to be almost indistinguishable from Obama's, including, especially, his "Romneycare".

There just isn't enough light between Romney and Obama for me to make a distinction. Romney in the Whitehouse will be more status quo, and if I'm going to vote for that, why not just leave Obama in!?

If you want change in Washington, You have to support Santorum or Gingrich, or better yet, Ron Paul!

Romney's biggest problem is that, from a political standpoint, he is Obama lite. Many of their views and policies are strikingly similar, healthcare being chief among them.

I fear a Romney vs Obama debate would see a lot of agreement between the two, which does not work in Romney's favor.
