Must be bad for business. Let's relieve everyone from responsibility, so mistakes can be eliminated as soon as possible.

Have we descended even below the animals? In nature, the male must fight for his mate and prove his worthiness. Nowadays, guys just hang out or group date. Couples move in together. Girls hand it out like candy. Guys are hyped up on internet porn. No wonder there is so much immodesty and lack of chastity. Apparently, all the sex education isn't working. Maybe it's time to emphasize abstinence before marriage.

People on this board make quite the statements.

"Have we descended even below the animals? In nature, the male must fight for his mate and prove his worthiness." - Would you prefer the Vikings to fight and kill your men so he can earn the ladies (once again through might)?

"Couples move in together." - Before they get married and it helps a couple learn to live with each others before getting taking the leap to get married. They may find afterwards they loved dating but can't stand living together. Better to know before tying the knot!

"Girls hand it out like candy." - They certainly don't. Some do. Some don't. Just like any time in history.

"Guys are hyped up on internet porn." - Some are, some aren't. Just like any time in history with brothels, etc.

"Apparently, all the sex education isn't working. Maybe it's time to emphasize abstinence before marriage." - Many families I know emphasize that and many youth don't follow. I know A LOT of girls who are conservative and only sleep with long-term boyfriends who they love. That's the new 'modest and respectful'. And they're not a bunch of loose flappers, they're good people.

As much as it pains me to say it, I am with the ACLU on this one.
Veto the stupid bill.

I support this bill for one major reason, and that is personal experience. I have only known one woman who had an abortion, and she was forced into it by an abusive husband who, when she told him she was pregnant, told her that if she didn't have an abortion that day he would beat her until she had a miscarriage. He drove her to the clinic, filled out all the forms, did all the talking with the doctors why she sat quietly in the corner, and then was tied down on a table and had the procedure done to her. Two days later the got up the courage to go to a women's shelter and leave him.

Hopefully such incidents are rare, but surely both pro-choice and pro-life people can agree that this should never happen.

Obviously this would not have happened if this law was in place in the state where my friend lived. Perhaps it isn't the best way, but some way must be found to stop such things from happening.
