You are a very generous man, Mr. Gurney. Davies played excellent offense but only had 2 rebounds. Not a passing grade on the one unless you're grading on the curve. Austin was a near zero. Overall for centers is a C.
Our guards get a B+ for defense, but a D for offense. Wide open and free throws missed. Any stiff from the crowd could have done as well. If you're on scholarship you better make most of your wide open shots. Winder, Kusik and Carlino get Cs at best.
Charles sure missed a bunch he should have made, but we'll be pleased with 16 points so with his rebounding excellence he gets a B. Zylstra came up big... but why is a wide open shot against bad teams made and then missed against the better team. The guy seems like a head case. Overall for 3-4s... B
A while to pull away? Like in the first 8 minutes of the game up 16-4? I don't get how the reporter thinks it took a while to pull away. Please don't tell me he/she is reporting on a game they watched with only 10 minutes left to play.
