Oh, merciful goodness. Lunacy at large.
Interesting that the tone of this story makes it sound like the BLM was the entity that closed down the road. And yet when people came in to tell the BLM that the road was closed, the BLM response was that the road should be open, and when presented with pictures that the road was closed, the BLM went out and worked to open it back up.
Sounds like more of a SUWA operation to me, but I guess in Utah we can't pass up any chance to bash the Feds.
Sounds like an illegal closure of a road whoever did it. Maybe this is the best way to find out who did it without having a problem like Paria Canyon. I am sure the four wheelers in the area would have been happy to clear the burm.
