Of all the county jails I've heard about, and few that I'm familiar with due to friends and family who have been there, Salt Lake County Jail seems to do the most to help the inmates do something productive with their time. Long hours and days spent with nothing to do but think, and get into trouble, turns out people who very often break the law again once they are out of jail. But with the programs at SLC Jail, inmates can learn skills that can lead to employability. Keep up the good work.
