We have spent trillions on the safety net. Had that money been evenly distributed among all Americans over the age of twenty one, we'd all be rich. So, why an increase of poor people? Somebody is taking advantage of the system and pocketing the loot.

The safety net would be very small, had the elderly not spent most of their lives putting into it. Can't blame the elderly for our ballooning debt. Someone needs to take away Obama's credit card. After spending more than all presidents combined, he holds the worlds record for spending.
