Again our government shows whose side they are really on.

There is an election coming, show these crooks we mean business. Vote out ALL incumbents.

If the "amnesty" bill is NOT repealed, then why should any legal resident of Utah bother to obey all the other laws?

Whay pay taxes? Why get business licenses? Why feed parking meters? Why obey speed limits? Why do anything that is required by state or federal law if breaking the law results in special privileges?

Either we are a nation of laws, where all laws, inlcuding federal immigration law, are obeyed and violotors punished, or we are a tyranny where "some animals are more equal than others."

Shurtleff is wrong on this issue, along with any Legislator who blocks repeal of the horrible amnesty bill they passed last year.

Now is the time for people to make plans to show up at their community Caucus next month and select delegates who will pick candidates who will enforce our laws. (And meet a host of other conservative criteria...)

If the intent was compassion, they would make sure there were provisions to stop this from happening in the future.

This is all about greed, and an attempt to sell out the American worker by flooding the labor market.

Since Herbert is the chief executive for the state of Utah, he SHOULD have been leading on immigration enforcement and fighting amnesty for illegal immigrants (HB 116).

He didn't.

I will be attending my caucus and will do everything I can to elect ANY replacement for Herbert.

Yes, the House and Senate leadership are also culpable and SHOULD be replaced with new members. Hopefully those LEGAL citizens living in the districts of the representatives OPPOSED to the rights of actual LEGAL Utah citizens will vote to replace them also.

In all my years of watching Utah politics (and participating some)I've never seen the rights of Utah citizens thrown "under the bus" as badly as the illegal immigration enforcement issues!

Its an election year for ALL member of the House.

Make your voice known!!

Once again our legislators are following their agenda and ignoring the citizens of this country.

Stuart Reed (R), Patricia Jones (D), Karen Morgan (D), Ralph Okerlund (R), Aaron Osmond(R), Jerry Stevenson (R), and Michael Waddoups(R), what are you afraid of?
