poetic justice, since timmy-boy's antics at the auction were a scam.

The scam trust was just "redistributing wealth"...isn't that what liberals want?

It's ironic to hear how loudly liberals scream when people take their money - that's exactly what they want to do with everyone else's.

Please.

Stop trying to claim 'redistribution of wealth' is a 'liberal' idea....

when Republican President George W. Bush, and a Republican majority in the House and Seante...

signed the first, Wall Street bail out.

Maybe we should invade yet ANOTHER country paid on my tax payer dime?

To be clear, this is a group of peole that lost their funding, due to lies and untruths.

And some people who comment on this board, celebrate it.

WWJD?

I don't pretend to know anyone's faith, but THAT is truly...

UN-christlike.

"WWJD? (What Would Jesus Do?)"

That's a roll in the aisle with laughter question. We kicked Jesus out of our schools, believe in separation of church and state, and then some pops that question?

One scoundrel to scammed by another scoundrel? Sounds like Karma to me.

Pagan,

why do you keep posting the "Bush signs $700B bailout" comment and try to think it's somehow about repubs redistributing wealth?

It must be your steady diet of MSNBC that has left you so uninformed.

if you'll check the treasury press releases, (instead of getting the MSNBC filtered version) you'd KNOW that only $245B went to banks, of which $258B was repaid. So we MADE money ($13B) off the banks.

Then you say it was repub majorities in 2008 that passed the legislation? Sorry, it was a DEM house and a DEM senate that passed the bailout. They took control of both houses of congress following the 2006 election. Please get your facts straight.

"Pagan, why do you keep posting the "Bush signs $700B bailout" comment"

Are you expecting a credible, rational, clear cut, answer to a rational, clear cut question? The best you can hope for will be a cut and paste answer or a WWJD question in response.

Should I feel guilty for thinking it is funny the DeChristopher got scammed?

Because it is just one example...

of conservative and Republicans...redistributing tax payer wealth...

into the hands of CEO bailouts.

I thought it was pretty clear.

Republicans, are socialists'.

Or should we have waited till Bush bailed them out, AGAIN?

So, I guess that's ALL that happened then, isn't it?

You should.

But you don't.

WWJD?

Not what you do.

I'm not celebrating that this guy's generous donors got scammed... but I couldn't help but note the irony and the what goes around comes around karma involved.

This "environmental activist" was found guilty in a court of law of intentionally scamming the BLM lease auction... so well meaning people send their money to him and themselvs get scammed.

The irony is so thick. They send money to a convicted scammer who's scam was motivated by the Global Warming movement (which in large part is itself a scam to make profiteers like Al Gore and others rich) and suprise suprise... they get scammed.

The layers and layers of scams involved in this saga are interesting.

I guess one good scam just leads to another...

"WWJD?"

Jesus would preach honesty, morality, chastity and virtue. What would Jesus do? Why, He would condemn pornography, promiscuity, and casual sex.

Then, support marriage. :)

"Proposition 8 was a ballot measure in California last November that changed the state constitution to restrict the definition of marriage to opposite-sex couples and eliminated same-sex couples' right to marry." article

It is counter productive to claim people engage in 'causal sex'...

when people actively WORK to deny them, monogamy.

@Pagan

You asked WWJD and not what the LDS Church would do so why are you trying to confuse the issue?

Jesus told the woman of ill repute to "go thy way and sin no more". There is nothing preventing same-sex couples from practicing monogamy either inside or outside of marriage. It just is not synonymous with that kind of lifestyle.

Re: Pagan | 10:19 a.m. Feb. 16, 2012

Your primary problem isn't with the LDS Church. It is with religion in general. In one of your responses to an earlier story you wrote: "While it's true I have well-deserved issues with religion..."

Are people with "well-deserved issues with religion" really interested in WWJD?
