Tragic end to what could have been a great life. Fame and money at a young age can destroy many people. He had some great opportunities in his life and it is sad that it all ended badly at 27 yrs. old. A terrible fall from grace for a young man with so much potential.

Way off topic, but you do realize that animals have compassion right? It's the reason dogs can be raised in a home. The reason my dog goes outside and chases frogs, but doesn't kill them. Animals definitely have compassion.

A sad end to a life that probably desperately wished over and over the last three years that he could have one do-over.

@red.diehard "....You do understand that Mickey, Minnie, and friends are not real?"

I'm not sure what dark place you pulled that comment from since he never mentioned Disney characters. You did.

'Even animals have levels of compassion and decency.'

You do understand that Mickey, Minnie, and friends are not real?

What a waste. Great athlete and big NFL contract and future. The gang culture destroyed him as well as those he killed (or had killed). Pretty darn sad. Is there anything worse in America than the gang culture? There is no excuse for belonging to a gang -- none. Gangs are evil -- pure evil. You can choose life or death as a young man. I don't care what your circumstances are -- poverty, no father , etc.. You are still human and you need to act like one instead of an animal. Even animals have levels of compassion and decency. Not gangs.
