Come on, people!
herriman, UT

I think Herriman is prepared to make a statement this weekend at Bingham! Come on Mustangs!

So what is a "statement" by Herriman? Do they have to win for it to be a statement? If the game is close, is that a statement? (If it is close because they score a couple times late like Davis did against the 2s and 3s, that is not a statement).

I'm serious here. I think that Bingham is more likely to make a statement by dominating and showing that they are the team to beat. But I'm curious what exactly you mean by "Herriman is prepared to make a statement"? Is that a prediction for a Herriman win?

What about the Orem Highland Game? Predictions?

St. George, UT

Orem is terrible and one of the worst 4A teams in Utah. So Highland, ID will probably win by 2 plus TD's

St. George, UT

Now if it was Highland, UT team then I would say 24 points plus victory for Highland.

That was some "statement". Actually, Herriman looked pretty impressive but Bingham is great because they make the big plays. I think Bingham has a pretty rough go of it next week because that offense isn't clicking.

Now we just need Benzo to get on here and tell us how Herriman is going to take state because they were tied at the half and held Bingham to 24 in the second half.

Easy on Benzo, he is great. I love fans who stick with their team and never loose hope. I also love people who are delusional and say things like West Jordan is going to beat Alta or Herriman will State or that Region 4 is better than Region 3.

South Jordan, UT

The only statement was size does not a great team make! I'll give Herriman credit, that O Line is legit. But Bingham just wore them down. That defense of Bingham is crazy good! If Bingham's O Line can get it together, they can be a very tough team to beat. I also think they will have their hands full next week against BG. But I think their D can keep it competitive. So much for that Herriman "Statement"!

American Fork, UT

The Region 4 vs Region 3 argument is legit. Bingham was better prepared and it really came down to coaching and experience in that game when the pressure was on. That defense is one of the best theyʻve had (but not as good as the 2010 version) and won the game for them.
AF was and is better than Brighton as that game came down to coaching, which in this case was AF side blowing it. Anyone with football knowledge who watched that game knows AF gave it away with terrible clock management and play calling.
After watching Jordan whip East (yes, it was a beatdown after the first quarter), Jordan looks like they may have a very good chance of beating Bingham. In saying that, the Jordan/PG game next week will say a lot about the difference between the 2 regions.
Lone Peak just whipped Alta and they may not qualify for the playoffs this year as the 5th best team in Region 4 where as Alta will clearly be the 4th best team in Region 3 and still make the playoffs.
By the way, the Miners will upset BG this Friday 21-20.

Lone Peak is going to be the surprise team out of region 4 this year, if you can even consider them a surprise. They completely manhandled Alta in a way that I don't think many teams will this year. Their skill positions across the board are some of the best in the state and their undersized line is doing a great job for their offense. I think they beat AF and PG this year (sorry, but AF is super overrated) while they will have a very hard time against Herriman. Riverton will be a toss up. They will beat both Lehi and Westlake. I don't know if they'll win region but they will make the playoffs and pretty much guarantee themselves a quarterfinal berth because they're matched up with region 2.
