It's important for me to know if the officer was attacked especially if the attackers were trying to go for his gun.

Perhaps its still too early to make judgements here, but another article on this story said the teen was trying to wrestle the policeman's gun from him. If that is so, this teen was not unarmed, he was armed and the policeman had reasonable cause to suppose his life was in danger if he didn't act forcefully.

Has a familiar ring... somewhat similar to the Travon Martin case. One has to wonder if Barack Hussein Obama will tell us the kid could very well have been his son.

Black urban youth have been taught nothing but hatred for white police officers. Do you think any of the “witnesses” will tell the truth?

Of course nationwide the epidemic is black on black murder and violence not police doing it, but for some reason this sort of report gets a lot of attention while the thousands of murders committed by urban gangs merits no attention -especially by these protesters who really ought to pay attention to the real problem.
