Watching these test being done and the destructive explosion and loss of frame work and safety devices at 40 mph is exposing the disaster small cars are not surviving in safety on the high ways. Seeing what a 40 mph crash can do to a small car explains a lot about what is happening when cars crash by themselves or into each other at speed from 65mph to 130 mph speeds.

Makes me want to go get my bow-tie half ton truck back and keep my speed around 60-65 mph. Speed is killing again on our highways and car design is so under developed that not even $10,000 dollars of safety equipment in every car is destroyed before it can save a life.
