It's about time. Thank you, Mr. President.

About time. One-in-five jobs in the US will now provide protection from discrimination for transgender workers. This is a bright day!!

I suppose we aught to start treating all people like....uh people or something. I don't know. Where are my scriptures? (flip) (flip) (flip) The Be-Attitudes??? Hey!!! Come on man!

Regarding the faith exemption that Sen. Hatch and others wanted, I'm struggling to find the religious teachings that would justify withholding services or benefits from those you find lacking in righteousness (however you choose to define it). Don't religious dicta like the Golden Rule and "turn the other cheek" mandate that those are precisely the populations you should minister to? Even the conservative mantra of "love the sinner, not the sin" suggests that discrimination against LGBT and other groups stigmatized as "sinners" in employment and allocation of services is wrong.

The so-called faith exemption is just a license to unjustly discriminate. Hopefully it will not be allowed.

Great news.

This has been the worse problem in the world.

Is there anyone who is not part of a discriminated group?

This is poison to our society.

Thank you Obama, and we're a nation of fools.
