Kerry must realize that this war in the middle east is not Vietnam and not a matter to negotiate who wins and who loses. If Kerry was being realistic and interested in peace he would be asking the Hamas for an unconditional surrender to the Israeli government. The US is not going to step in and negotiate peace, it doesn't work and he should know that.

To have peace you have to have a winner who takes control and disarms its enemy. Your can't possibly think that a truce will do anything good. The Israeli are obligated to continue to the last man to elimiante the threat of the Hamas to the middle east.

Kerry and team Obama should be telling the Hamas to surrender their arms and weapons. Peace cannot be negotiated, its the product of a victor overpowering the enemy. Hamas is an enemy to the world and world peace and Team Obama should be working toward that end, to stop and crush Muslim terrorist in the Middle east.

Why all this keeping score of the number of "Palestinian" deaths? Hamas declared aggressive war on the Israelis, and the Israelis are retaliating, trying to put a stop to the rockets which Hamas is sending against Israeli civilians. Actually, the death toll of "Palestinians" is disproportionately very low. The Israelis have made more that 1200 bombing strikes plus a ground war, and only about 500 "Palestinians" have been killed so far. That is more than two bombing raids for every dead "Palestinian"! This attests to Israel's bending over backwards to avoid killing people because a single well-placed bomb would kill over a hundred people easily. And, compare the puny death toll, to the death toll in neighboring Syria and Iraq where far more than 500 are killed every month! Who is even paying attention to that? Who cares? Only when a "Palestinian" is killed by an Israeli is it deemed worthy of media attention. What hypocrisy!
