Well, it not surprising, They aren't the only ones competing for those
entry level homes. They are competing with Baby Boomer Home-flippers, Hedge
Funds buying distressed properties and renting them out. and, Banks who have
foreclosed on Millions of homes, but are content to just slowly release these
homes into the market so as not to depress prices further. Add in Depressed
wages, who can buy a home on a $10/hour wage? If I were a new college graduate,
with no job propsects, I'd move back home to my old bedroom and pull the
covers over my head. As this wassn't what I had planned for my life to be
at this point.
I like mobile homes. They are insulated all around and in the floor. and can go
70 miles an hour down the freeway. What is a starter home. I don't want to
go through looking and all the other stuff to buy another home. May be I buy a
tiny place when I get old.
