I only ask why anyone in their right mind would be dissatisfied with gridlock? If the wheels came off, the realistic optimists couldn't be happier. it means that the there must be something good in the works, something lasting, something noble! One would have to be naive, ignorant, and without hope to trust a politician to do something good for the country. Come on people, study history!

When it's all said and done, twenty years from now Obama will be remembered as the president who accomplished NOTHING.

Obama had time to go to a Texas barbecue but not to the southern border 300 miles away to see the Immigration crisis first-hand. He said he doesn't do photo-ops. See photo in this article.

He is very happy as a campaigner and loves to be out on the road. I think he needs to stay home and get some serious work done by negotiating with law-makers on both sides of the aisle on critical issues.

God bless America!

". . . and a fast-moving Islamic insurgency that's threatening to upend U.S. military progress in Iraq"

Really? We made "Progress" in Iraq?

How? . . . By attacking a nation that didn't attack us first? . . . By killing over 100,000 Iraqis and over 4,000 of our own troops? . . . by creating tens of thousands of wannabe martyrs dedicated to our extinction? . . . By destabilizing the Middle East for decades to come?

That fast-moving Islamic insurgency is not threatening "progress."

That fast-moving Islamic insurgency is threatening a status quo we created that is vastly inferior to the status quo we tampered with and eliminated to our own detriment when GW attacked Iraq.

That fast-moving Islamic insurgency is not threatening "progress." It is threatening the horrendous mess we made, thanks to GW and company . . . A mess we made that may or may not be worse than the mess that could result if we just stood back and let them fight it out.

Whatever "roadshow" Obama might be presenting is clearly more desirable than the GW's Bush's show of awful leadership.

Thank God for Obama and the Democrats.

He is exposing the gridlock and hypocrisy. The conservative congress just increased the deficit with the new tax break for special interests.

He never had to work for a living to earn money. His first problem was to get a Peace PRIZE for doing nothing as President. The integrity of the Nobel people and those who submitted his name put integrity at the bottom. This President, then tried to convince all of Congress to vote and then read the ACA was a violation of their and his oath of office. They took the Congress to new lows of trust. His process is to divide and conquer and not build trust and confidence in a nation that was founded on religious principles and a desire for freedom, true freedom from despots. I remember in recent history a man who took a country to war with the world over his quest for power. He raised nationalism to thwart peace. This country has a Constitution of, for and by the people for a reason, to keep leaders on their own subverting the law. Thank goodness we live in a country that has a balance of power. Our nation didn't want Kings and I am glad General and President Washington didn't either

@ One vote. Please give us one (1) item on Obama's agenda that congress has blocked! Just one! Please be honest and don't make up things that never happened! Obama has never been blocked on anything, period! Obmacare (including all the 29 illegal changes), the so called bailout, shovel ready jobs, raised taxes, opened the borders, destroyed the DOMA, Solynda debacle, never came clean on fast and furious, IRS abuses, Benghazi lies, VA abuses, Syria, on and on it goes. When Obama's agendas fails, Obama throws a childish temper tantrum and blames congress? He tries to pass that off as leadership?

Gridlock? Obama has "a pen and a telephone". He does not need congress, as he has so often demonstrated. What this is all really about is Obama's approval numbers are plummeting and rather than admit that his policies have failed our country, he once again blames congress! Even his fellow Democrats up for re-election in November are running away from him in droves! Obama is simply trying to pass HIS failures off as Congress' failures, but honest people are not buying it anymore! Who Obama is REALLY mad at is the SCOTUS! Drat the SCOTUS anyway, drat it for reigning Obama's lawlessness! But he can rail against the court so its "congress' fault..lol.

Oh Boy that List. Let's go through a couple.

#1 Passed or socialized health care reform? Either way he lied about keeping our plan, doctor, etc while making it more expensive for most of us.

#4 should say "prematurely ended any success in Iraq" pulling out too fast for political reasons and now the region is chaos.

#6 Bin Laden's whereabouts obtained from captured terrorists at Guantanamo Bay. Obama vowed and failed to shut Guantanamo down, lucky him. One of the Seal members openly despises Obama for taking credit for Bin Laden's capture. Why? Because he did NOTHING.

#13 I'm going to try not to laugh, because the rest of the world is laughing while guys like Putin make a fool out of Obama. On a more serious note, negotiating with terrorists doesn't help image abroad.

#41 Really? Oh yeah Benghazi, IRS targeting conservatives, phone tapping, Fast and Furious, he probably just found out from the news... No scandals here.

A few more Obama successes. Doubled Americans on food stamps. Increased part time jobs while decreasing full time jobs. Doubled National debt. Didn't reform immigration, just opened borders to children now alone and homeless. WELL DONE.

From the article: “White House officials insist the president is simply trying to reconnect with Americans and show them that someone in Washington is looking out for their interests.”

At a 40% job approval rating, it is obvious the strategy is not working.

Under Obamacare if you get cancer you will not lose everything you have ever worked for. Don't think it will never happen to you. I had cancer before Obamacare and I lived a very healthy life style. At the time of my cancer surgeries I have very good health insurance. By the time I was cancer free I had spent my retirement, my investment properties and fought to keep my home. You will never know this kind of financial devastation because Obamacare will protect you and the insurance companies will have to do what they are designed to do, PAY!
Once a cancer survivor I could not buy private health insurance. Prior to my new employment my wife and I was paying less then $500 a month for coverage.

Complain and hate Obama all you want but YOU have no idea how lucky you are!

LOU, I cringe at that list. Most of the things are there are not good, and the rest are misleading or false.

Pace once again leaves out the entire quote our President made regarding no Texas border visit..."I'm not interested in photo-ops. I'm interested in solving the problem". Wow! What a tremendous difference it makes when one hears the entire statement. Journalistic integrity anyone?
