    Gump has multi-faceted subject matter.

    Emotion is there when a Vietnam Veteran without legs expresses his wavering hope that someday he will walk again with Jesus in the kingdom of heaven.

    The Vietnam war was such a waste of innocent people's lives, resources and the beginnings of a huge national debt.

    The US State Department needs to be indicted for creating a war and for extending and managing their war with a no-win policy agenda.

    Sequels aren't always good. Sometimes it is better for people to imagine what happens next. I know he was raising a young child at the end, but it seemed he already lived a long life full of adventure.
