We need to use the money to secure our southern border. This is a must! It could be done by calling out the National Guard. While doing so, we could hire and train border patrol and build a fence. We need to do what is on the laws right now instead of letting all these illegals stream into our country.

We are a compassionate nation,are also a nation of immigrants. We want immigrants. But there must be a system in place to welcome and receive those immigrants to ensure stability, balance, safety, and success.

Enforcing laws to ensure a successful immigration program is simply the system we have set up. The laws are not harsh, they are not meant to punish, they are not some right wing tea party effort to isolate our country. The immigration laws are meant to provide a system for welcoming immigrants in a balanced, safe, successful manner.

For Congress and the President to ignore those laws and refuse to carry them out leads to a failure of system, balance, safety, and success. Thus we are seeing illegal immigration contributing to employment issues, health care issues, law enforcement and safety issues, education/schooling issues, and a host of other problems.

We could solve this if the President and Congress would secure the border and follow the law/system for a successful immigration program. The smuggler industry works because of failure in our system, namely our border is not secure and the processing of legal immigration is so slow.

If there are available jobs, they will come here, legally or illegally.

If there are no jobs, they will stay in Mexico.

It is just that simple – the existing immigration laws are not being enforced.

Has Obama come to the realization yet that when you give something to one group, all the rest want it? His amnesty for adults brought here as children has proved that amnesty creates more problems, and fixes nothing.

@BYUalum:
"We need to use the money to secure our southern border. This is a must!"

Barack Hussein Obama told us awhile back that the border was secured. What more do you want other than the word of the machinator-in-chief?

"It could be done by calling out the National Guard."

The National Guard would do exactly what the border patrol agents are now doing... inviting illegals in; turning them over to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to feed, house; and provide transportation to their nearest relative in the US.

"While doing so, we could hire and train border patrol and build a fence."

How you gonna build a fence down the center of the Rio Grande River?

"We need to do what is on the laws right now instead of letting all these illegals stream into our country."

Now you're talkin'. All that is needed to do to stem illegals entering this country is enforce our existing laws... including E-verify.

Obama has ulterior motives. I would splain them to y'all but DNews would not allow the post.
