Sounds cool but the article did not offer a single detail about HOW the drones would operate. Will there by a human at the controls (like US Air Force drones) or will the drone be flown entirely by a software program/computer that simply has a start location (the warehouse) to a delivery point (your home) and back again. And....how does it deliver it to your home....does it drop via a parachute?....does it hover to your front door? If it hovers to your door, how will it make sure it doesn't hurt anyone with its high speed rotating blades if you open the door and walk out unexpectedly?

Details would be nice. I know Amazon is only testing this concept but you can't test what you have not previously conceived, even if it's only a rough idea.
