If Obama can change laws after they are enacted without Congressional review or approval like he did with sections of the ACA, why cant a governor?

@dr thorn
Yes because of course two wrongs make a right.

Colorado offers "civil unions" that basically give same-sex couples everything except the actual title of "Marriage." Apparently the clerks are giving them both. There's no additional benefits except recognition of equal status with other married people. It does seem like grand-standing though. There is a challenge in State Court to the ban on same-sex marriage that is due to come out any day now. I doubt the State will appeal it.

Obama has a corrupt attorney general to back him up.

So tragic that all that time and money is being used to fight American civil rights. It is a losing battle for those fighting SSM.
The tremendous legal fees spent throughout the US could be better used feeding and housing citizens, education, environmental issues, etc.

So because you think the president acted illegally the governor is justified in doing so as well? So to wrongs make a right?

It shows that when it comes to democracy there are too many gay supporters that don't respect it. This scares me.
