    I avoid flying at all now. Not because of fear of terrorists, but because of the paranoia of our own authorities. The British had a knack of being able to keep on keeping on, but here we all but hide under our beds. I'd rather not take planes anywhere in America, preferring to drive. Sadly, as the paranoia spreads, TSA can now be found in some subways, at bus stations, and will probably be found at Border Patrol checkpoints in the near future. I guess, pretty soon, old people and kids can be subjected to random searches about anywhere. So much for constitutional protections that can be waived any time the government dreams up reasons to be afraid of their own shadows.
