The famous baseball catcher and TV commentator Joe Garagiola has devoted his life to warning young players about the dangers of 'spit tobacco'. It breaks my heart that we lost one of the greatest players in baseball history because of his addiction to chewing tobacco. Players young and old should take heed of Joe's advice.

There is angst over GMOs that have killed no one and yet we are casual about smokeless tobacco that has killed many. It's a strange dichotomy.
