Why not just convert the VA hospitals and let Vets get the same health care as other Americans and have the government pay?

This is not helping the VA or veterans at all. There is a problem in the VA financial infrastructure and trowing more money at this is not going to fix the fraud and corruption in the VA that is required.

Veterans require specialized heatlh care that civilian hospital are not equipped with the training and help that veterans require. I disagree that local hospitals cannot deal with war traumas should be involved. This windfall federal insult will only add to the problems and the house and the senate need to do some serious investigator and oversight of the VA. Giving money to private hospitals will only exasperate the veterans care. Private hospitals will not share with the VA any information or treatment the veterans receive.

Throwing the VA and veterans under the buss and drive over them is not a fix or help they need. This band aid Obama fix insults the veterans and will double or triple the cost and multiplication of treatment and care will not improve. This is not giving vets care, its windfall billions to private medical facilities who are not qualified.
