This is exactly the way to increase unemployment and poverty in America!

"This is exactly the way to increase unemployment and poverty in America!"

Okay, burning coal is great for boosting healthcare costs and doctor jobs in America as it leads to illness that requires more medical attention and Obamacare ... perhaps that's good for boosting the economy.

But it also is bad for families -- the time and costs of caring for sick loved ones caused by burning coal -- from the mercury and chemical runoff released into our water, air and food from burning the coal to air born pollutants ... coal is nasty stuff for humans. It may be good for the Gross Domestic Product of America -- but it isn't good for families and quality of life.

Our problem in America is that electricity isn't a free market. We're at the mercy of Rocky Mountain Power's monopoly, and we're forced to buy their coal-fired power (which it owns the plants that make the energy for its captive market). Indeed, RMP is even trying to foist a $50 annual fee on solar panel owners!

The only way to move America ahead on clean, price stable power is via regulation.

"States move to blunt impact of Obama carbon plan"

". . . Blunt the impact" huh?

That's really too bad, because the carbon plan was designed to provide a long-range POSITIVE impact for this nation, and thus provide for "and promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity."

Blunting that positive and very beneficial impact is nothing to brag about . . . unless one is trying to impress a group of like-minded people dedicated to minimally benefiting themselves in the short term at the great EXPENSE of the world, and their children and grandchildren in the long term.

How is that a good thing?

Obama knows best?

Look at Solyndra! America was scammed.

If our commander was serious of pollution, he wouldn't be making so many flights to Hawaii, and campaign dinners.

His jet burns over 85 million dollars worth of fuel per year.

That's not leading by example.
