With the politician mind set of changing the name, should they not then demand the state of Oklahoma to something else? After all, and please correct me if I am wrong, Oklahoma translated means Red Person or loosely red skin.

It seems to me the only ones that are offended by this name are those 50 Senators, none of which are Native Americans.

The only ones that have the right to be offended are the Native Americans who are indeed represented by this moniker. So far, not very many of them have been griping about it.

Now the rodeo circuits want the name "Cowboys" dropped.

Where does all this end?

All Democrats, no doubt. With all the problems the VA, IRS, Benghazi, Federal spending out of control, Obamacare sucking and they are worried about the name of a football team? There are far bigger fish to fry.

I agree with "Oh Really?" Harry Reid and his group in the Senate can't seem to get anything done in Washington but seem bent on making sure that everything is politically correct.

What is more painful to the Indian nation?

Calling them Redskins, or taking their land?

I think they should change the name so they can get rid of those awful jerseys and terrible colors.
